Sunday Thoughts for the Spiritual.

" The only dumb mistake is the one you don't learn from"

New Goal: In relief society they talked about the gathering of Israel. The teacher spelt israel I-S-R-E-A-L. Even though it was a mistake it stuck out to me, like what were learning about IS REAL. Its also the the word atonement at one ment. You're at one with christ. So my goal is to learn more about my tribe in my patreartical blessing. I had no idea that there were certin blessing pertaining to the tribe. I found it really cool.  They brought up a point and said that could be your only thing in your blessing, and you would be okay. The rest is just an extra personalized road map. I like that the lord cares about us so much we can see what's in store for us.

Another sunday thought from the YSA fireside: Bridle your passions. Just the past few days ive really been thinking about how to spend my time more wisely and make the most out of life. If i use all my talent and really develop it im bridling my passions. My human development professor said today that "if your not reading your text book than what are you doing?" It hit me hard. What am i really doing with my life and what do i have to show. In high school i was always involved and doing multipul projects, but now im not doing extra projects. So its really time to focus on my music .

Goal: Learn to play my guitar so it stops collecting dust. ( i need to remember how good it felt to accomplish and play at the senior show off)  I volunteered Matt to help me with this goal.

Play piano. I'm good when i practice so i need to just keep practicing. And same with violin. I want an electric violin for christmas . I better start practicing again.

Another thought from the fireside: You really get to know a person when your working on a project together. Especially if it's a project that shows your similar interest and what you have in common. You can see a persons work ethic and a lot about their personality. Most importantly you can see there patients tolerance. :)
